40G QSFP+ to 4xSFP+ high-speed cable (DAC) is pre-terminated with QSFP+ connectors on one end and four 10G SFP+ connectors on the other end for connection to 40G devices and 10G devices for 10G and 40G network connections. The 4pcs 10Gpbs interfaces can be designed to actively unlock and passive unlock.
